How Essential Oil Blends Helped My Anxiety and Stress

March 8, 2019With Love, From Sza

I am the kind of person who overthink almost everything. My concern as mom doesn’t stop at my son’s primary needs, but his overall well-being. Was the food he ate on dinner healthy enough? Was he able to digest the pearls from the Milk Tea he had this afternoon? Were the meds prescribed harmless? Is his immune system strong enough? Why is he crying before bed? Have I done something wrong?

I worry. A lot. We all do. And sometimes, we just needed that calm state where we would stop worrying about anything and everything and just have a happy day. I would kill for that calm state of mind.

I was having trouble putting Dreu to sleep last week. For 3 consecutive days, he;s been crying for like 2 hours or so. I have tried checking his teeth, tummy, temperature, & environment. I can’t pin-point the reason and I’m getting out of my mind.

If you’ve been living on Earth for quite some time, you probably heared about Essential Oils. That time, I bumped on an article about Essential Oils and so I decided to try some blends first before I buying a beginner set.

I’ve ordered it on Shopee from a shop with awesome reviews 4.9/5 stars.

In the package are five pieces of 5 ML blends, and one I bought an additional one 10ml blend. The blend has been made using the brand Plant Therapy (PT) Kidsafe Synergies.

Here’s what I got:

rapid relief

It states that Rapid Relief EO Blend helps relieve the perception of pain.

munchy stop

Munchy Stop EO Blend here helps manage my hunger cravings. I am not using this everyday but I think I should.

Worry Free EO Blend as the name suggests, promotes a relaxed state of mind. This is what’s been in my pocket since I got it. I tend to have panic attacks and I worry for almost everything, every single day. This calms me when I take the bus for commute – I’m claustrophobic and I can’t breathe when people have been standing inside the bus. I bring this with me every time and I can say, it really helped.

Tummy All-Better

Tummy All Better EO Blend is for the little one’s tummy troubles. Haven’t tried it yet.

Study Buddy

Study Buddy EO Blend says it enhances memory/helps in remembering lessons. I got this one because it’s been a long time since I last worked and I’ll be back in the corporate world soon. Due to brain fog after giving birth AKA Mommy Brain, I’m having trouble remembering now so hopefully, this should help.

I am still learning about Essential Oils and I think I might invest in it. It’s a great natural approach to our family. Hence, I can stop worrying about the effects of medicines and all that. I think this would be a great help for us, moms. You know even if we’re the supermoms, we all needed a little help.

And I think you should too. If you’ve heard about it for some time, you should give it a try. You can start with blends that you can order from Shopee or Instagram. I can recommend some shops, drop some comments below and I’ll let you know.

I remember the days of having a baby cry for no reason! Our oldest cried every night for about an hour and 1/2. I remember being told at the time that peppermint can help soothe a baby tummy. Essential oils were not a big thing back then. The worry-free blend sounds like it would be very helpful for most of us moms! Hang in there, they eventually stop crying and then they start driving!!! A whole new thing to worry about:-)

      Hi Jennifer,

I admit, sometimes, the screaming gets into my nerves. These Essential Oils are really helpful to me when I get too overwhelmed – being new to this mom thing. Thanks for your comment. Can’t wait when they stop crying. 🙂
